    West Java Province Already Enters Digital Age


    BANDUNG-West Java Governor asserted that the Government of West Java Province has entered the era of digitalization in terms of governance. It thus seen from the use of Electronic Procurement Services, e-Samsat and other applications.

    Governor affirmation is contained in a written speech read by Secretary of West Java, Iwa Karniwa when the Digital Signature Socialization, on Tuesday (13/12), held at the Ballroom of Trans Hotel Bandung.

    According to the Governor, "the result of electronic transactions as one of cash transactions replacement in West Java in 2015 to achieve 36% or around Rp 56 trillion. It is thus seen from what has been runs from through LPSE, e-Samsat and e-commerce, he added.

    Now to be exploited "digital signature" of each electronic documents, then everything will be more efficient, fast, easy and friendly environment, as well as important is there is a certainty guarantee of the law through existing legislation.

    Declared by the Governor, that the Government of West Java appreciates the use of digital signatures. "It's just the problems that exist now is not on technology, but on human resources as the perpetrators, "he said.

    Therefore, the Governor requested that the use of digital signatures continually educated to the public, and participants today follow socialization, should transmit back to the audience.

    "Particularly in the West Java Provincial Government, the Governor asked Communication and Informatics agencies to socialize digital signatures, both in government and the community, he concluded.
