BANDUNG-West Java Governor Ahmad Heryawan emphasized that the sector that is not bothered by the slowdown in the economy, is tourism and culture sector. Other sectors has decreased but not in tourism sector.
It thus stated Ahmad Heryawan while giving a speech at the event of Opening Exhibition of Tourism and Culture, Sunday (11/12), held at Taman Hutan Raya Juanda Dago.
Governor further, hence this sector should be one of the featured sectors in West Java and in the future need to get adequate budget with records, programs are directed correctly.
Increased budget for the tourism and culture sector should in unison with other sectors, for example Bina Marga regarding road infrastructure and education sectors involving public awareness that support a tourist area.
Then Governor Ahmad Heryawan offensive also about community awareness in the trash. "So that our tourist area meets standards Internationally, the garbage must be considered, including the activities of the this morning", said the Governor.
"I ask after the completion of this event, then around the site of this opening (Tahura Environment) there is no more garbage, added the governor.
After the event, Governor Ahmad Heryawan is reviewing exhibition stand with accompanied by Tourism and Culture Department. There are 27 exhibition booths, featuring a variety of craft of Cities / Regencies in West Java.
