KUNINGAN-Vice Governor of West Java Deddy Mizwar said, the most important actor in nature conservation is actually the community and helped by "Political Will" from Government in the provision of facilities. Communities and Government move together to maintain the balance of nature.
It thus stated by Vice Governor Deddy Mizwar on the top events of Indonesian Tree Planting Action Day (HMPI) and National Planting Month (BMN) in West Java Province Level 2016 in the Botanical Gardens Padabeunghar Village Kuningan, subdistrict of Pasawahan, Kuningan regency on Thursday (24/11/2016).
Vice Governor Deddy also revealed that environmental awareness activities are also one of which is an effort to educate community to start taking care of nature. Because according to him, look at the disaster that occurred in West Java later, it is a reminder from Allah SWT, that nature has no balanced again.
"Nature is already showing imbalances, this damage by humans, not who and this damage can be overcome by man, " Deddy added.
The implementation of this HMPI, provided 6,000 trees with division; 1000 endemic and exotic wood stems of plants, as well as "Multipurpose Trees Species" (MPTS). Then 5,000 rods consist of Gmelina sp, Acacia Mangium, Suren (Toona sureni), Sengon (Falcataria Mollucana) and Mahogany (Switenia sp) plants.
Activity was attended by more than 1,000 people, consisting a range of West Java FKPD, West Java Provincial Office and District / Municipal Agency and the Bureau of West Java Province And also Regency / City, Regional/State-Owned Enterprises, Regional Organization of Provincial and District / Municipal, Universities, Organization, Darmawanita, student of elementary, junior high, high school, Scouts, and element of the village, as well as local residents.
On that occasion, also made awards to Regents and Mayors performance by decree of Governor of West Java No. 002.6 / kep.863-BKD / 2016 dated August 9, 2016 concerning the provision of awards to the winners One Billion Tree Planting Competition 2015 in level of West Java Province, and the winners of the award are as follows:
