    JKN Program Recognized Still Constraints


    JAKARTA-Internal Affairs Minister Tjahyo Kumolo-Interior admitted that there are still many obstacles in the implementation of this health insurance program. As still may people who do not understand about health insurance procedures, first services level is not maximized, health facilities which do not meet standards, as well as the number of doctors who have not been ideal.

    Internal Affairs Minister also requested that local governments can maximize health insurance program to the community, as well as repair any constraints that exist through innovation and other efforts. To that end, he hopes that health insurance program as it becomes full attention of every government area.

    It thus expressed Internal Affairs Minister Cahyo Kumolo when give a speech at BPJS Talk show in Grand Mercure Hotel Ballroom, Kemayoran, H. Benjamin Sueb Street Kav. B-6, Central Jakarta, Monday (21/11/2016).

    "10 percent of the budget in every area allocated for Assurance Health program. And health problems should have attracted the attention of the governors and regent / mayor, "pleaded Affairs Minister.

    "I ask the Governor, Regents / Mayors to support the integration of this program, to expedite and improve the quality of health services easily accessible, convenient, and can be accepted by society, "he added.

    Of the total national budget of Rp 1.073 trillion or as much as 15.1% or Rp 126.89 trillion, including for health spending. The biggest number portion is in West Java province because it has the largest population. While total expenditure of district / city throughout Indonesia reached Rp 629.3 trillion. Health spending in the whole districts in Indonesia as much as 16.84% or Rp 9.1 trillion. And to the city government health expenditure reached 17.21% or Rp 19.2 trillion.
