BANDUNG-West Java Governor Ahmad Heryawan in his written speech that read by Yansos Dadi Iskandar asserted that education is prioritised in development in West Java. This is expressed in the anniversary of 103rd Muhammadiyah, Bandung, Sunday (22/11).
"Muhammadiyah is a pioneer in the field of education, not only in West Java but throughout Indonesia. Therefore, the vision and mission of Muhammadiyah in line with the development purpose of West Java in the field of education to promote quality human resources,” he said.
To manage the abundant natural resources, was needed reliable human resources so that the natural resources could be beneficial to the community.
"Without the proper management of natural resources it would not have the optimum benefit to the public welfare. Therefore, through education, the human resources of the nation can be produced,” he said.
With the presence of MEA, the competition is not only on goods and services, but also in the readiness of adequate human resources, so that it’s important to prepare the competent human resources.
