BANDUNG-President Joko Widodo has approved the Development Plan of Solid Waste-Based Power Plant (PLTSa) in Bandung. Thereby stated by Mayor Bandung, Ridwan Kamil.
According to the Mayor, Solid Waste-Based Power Plant Development Plan reinforced with President Regulation No. 18 2016 on Accelerated Development of Solid Waste-Based Power Plant in Jakarta, Tangerang, Bandung, Semarang, Surakarta, Surabaya, and Makassar.
"The President approved the Development Plan of Solid Waste-Based Power Plant in Bandung should involve cities the regencies surrounding the city, "said Mayor.
The mayor said, to review the plan he will conduct a joint coordination with West Java Provincial Government in preparing technical things to build Solid Waste-Based Power Plant.
"We will do a Coordination with West Java province, to discuss a various things start from location up to Technology That will be used "he said.
The mayor added that Currently Solid Waste-Based Power Plant Development Plan will be conducted in Legok Nangka, as the ones listed in the Spatial Plan of Bandung.
"At the site which covers 70 hectares taken into account will be able to accommodate garbage from the city of Bandung and its surroundings, but the plan still must be communicated to the Government of West Java, "he said. (Parno)
