BANDUNG - Member of Budget Committee of Garut provincial council (DPRD) states want to share his loads with West Java provincial government in terms of overcoming the burden of deficit budget.
"Because of the low fiscal capacity in Garut, then we always had a deficit budget. For budget in 2016 we are in deficit of Rp 298 billion. We want this load budget is partly taken over by the provincial government,” said Dendi Hidayat, Member of Budget Committee of Garut provincial council (DPRD) of the Golkar Party faction in the presence of Budget Agency of West Java Provincial Parliament on Wednesday (18/11).
The loads budgetary experienced by Garut, according Dendi, requires serious attention from the West Java provincial government. If a portion of the burden taken over the province, then the burden of Garut budget will be reduced. One that can be taken over by the provincial government is the budget for road infrastructure construction.
"Infrastructure in Garut is nearly 50 percent were severely damaged. So that the streets were heavily damaged will be funded directly by provincial government. We hoped that there is a sharing the load to relieve of Garut regency burden,” he said.
For fiscal year 2016, further Dendi, Garut regency government will budgeted for infrastructure development amount of Rp 490 billion.
