    West Java October Inflation is Amounting to 0.09 Percent


    BANDUNG-Composite CPI in October 2016 covering West Java seven cities are Bogor, Sukabumi, Bandung, Cirebon, Bekasi, Depok and Tasikmalaya experienced increasing index. CPI of 123.13 in September 2016 became 123.24 in October 2016, thus an inflation of 0.09 percent.

    The inflation rate of calendar year "year to date" (January -October 2016) was 1.83 percent and the inflation rate of year to year "year on year" (October 2016 to October 2015) stood at 2.81 percent.

    Head of West Java BPS Gema Purwana mention from seven expenditure group that experienced inflation, namely Food, Beverages, Cigarettes & Tobacco group by 0.20 percent, Housing, Water, Electricity, Gas & Fuel group by 0.37 percent, 0.30 of Health Group and Transport, Communications & Finance Services Group by 0.09 percent.

    "While experienced deflation is Material Food Group by 0.29 percent, Clothing Group by 0.24 percent, and Education, Recreation & Sports Group by 0.02 percent, "he said.

    From seven cities of CPI observation in West Java September 2016, six cities experienced inflation of 0.59, namely Bogor City 0.59 percent, 0.02 percent of Sukabumi, Bandung City by 0.14 percent, 0.10 percent of Cirebon City, Depok City by 0.01 percent and 0.04 percent of Tasikmalaya City. While one city experienced deflation that is Bekasi City by 0.07 percent. jo
