KARAWANG-West Java Governor Ahmad Heryawan (Aher) sow one million fish seed in Cipule Lake subdistrict of Cipule Karawang Regency. Accompanied by Karawang Regent Cellica Nurachadiana, West Java Head of Fisheries and Marine Djafar Ismail and the official of the Karawang regency. Aher said, raising a million fish seed of milkfish, nilem fish, tawes fish, red-eyed fish and shrimp, is people fish program. Where people can enjoy fish planted but it is not using the net.
"It's my promise to sow a million fish seed here and I've filled a million more, please communities enjoy it, this is people fish program do not use nets, lured only or using kecrik, "said Aher Monday (31/10/2016).
In addition to Cipule lake sowing fish seed similar thing has been done in Jatigede, Jatiluhur, Cileunca lake and public waters in West Java. It is said by Aher, in addition to increase the consumption of fish for the community which has impact on the nutrition improvement from the animal protein also to create a culture of fishing communities and as a venue for recreation.
"We want to have a culture in holiday to fish here with family or friends, for recreation and of course supplementary nutrition too, "he said.
Cipule Lake is chosen location after he witnessed Rowing sports matches at the event PON XIX some time ago which is located in that place.
"I'm interested in the fish plant here when seeing this lake is to be a place of Rowing sports in PON yesterday, "he said.
"A million is enough then we will be planting more in another public waters" added Aher.
