    Religious Facility Development Continues Be Improved


    Soreang-The construction of religious facilities get serious attention from the government. Therefore, religious facilities including pesantren (Islamic boarding school) will be improved both quantity and quality.

    It thus stated by Governor of West Java, H. Ahmad Heryawan on the sidelines of the National Islamic Students (santri) Day, in Sabilulungan Building, Bandung regency Monday (16/11).

    According to the Governor, the role of Islamic students and clerics to build the nation and state apparent in the way of liberating NKRI from foreign imperialism. Now, in the period of santri independence, they need to understand religion without any radical behaviours, added the Governor.

    Realising this hopes, the provincial government has built thousands of classes. Classrooms were built that include schools run by the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Religious Affairs.

    The stimulus to pesantren has also been given Rp 100 million per boarding schools throughout the region, said Governor Heryawan.

    Meanwhile, Regent of Bandung, Dada M Nasser, in the event said that Bandung regency is now more focused on the improvement of human resources, including santri of human resources. Bandung regency government, in order to establish the quality of religious development, is making charity center. The presence of charity center is expected to boost the economic development of the people.

    Other facilities is also prepared the construction of a digital library that contains Arabic language.
