BANDUNG - West Java Provincial Government will continue to encourage local districts that do not have the Disaster Mitigation Agency (BPBD) to quickly form it.
West Java Governor Ahmad Heryawan asserted, at the end of the year all the regions that do not have BPBD should have it possibly.
"Yes we push on, so that areas that do not yet have BPBD to quickly form it. It is importance for society also some institutions that stand in disaster management,” he said.
Although he did not know the details of how many area that do not have BPBD, but according to the Act, all area must have BPBD.
"Detail data is in Pa Ujuwala, but certainly under the Act said that all district and province should have BPBD, so I guess it was a necessity, and sooner or later have to exist in every district," he said.
