BANDUNG, West Java export value in August 2016 reached USD 2.31 billion, up sharply to reach 48.20 percent compared to July 2016 amounted to USD 1.56 billion.
Head of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of West Java Bachdi Ruswana discloses non-oil exports in August 2016 reached USD 2.26 billion, up 49.14 percent compared to July 2016 reached USD 1.52 billion.
"Oil and gas exports amounted to USD 44.23 million rose 12.28 percent over the previous month amounted to USD 39.39 million," he said.
West Java value of non-oil exports in January-August 2016 stood at USD 17.11 billion, a slight increase of 0.33 percent compared to the same period in 2015 which reached USD 17.06 billion.
In year-on-year (the range in August 2016 to August 2015), the value of non-oil exports reached its lowest point in July 2016 valued at USD 1.52 billion, while the highest export was recorded in April 2016 with a value of USD 2.60 billion.
Meanwhile lowest value of oil and gas exports amounting to USD 27.81 million occurred on April 2016 and the highest valued at USD 81.78 million occurred in August 2015.
