BANDUNG-Vice Governor of West Java Deddy Mizwar attended a meeting with the Mayor of Bandung Ridwan Kamil in the Mayor's Office, on Saturday (7/11). This meeting was held to discuss the development of world-class Arts Building, which is planned to be built in Cikutra area, Bandung.
After the meeting, Vice Governor said that development can be done with various patterns of collaboration between government and private sectors or investors. “The financing can be addressed to investors, the construction of arts building can be addressed to local government, and it depends on the patterns of cooperation," said Vice Governor told the reporters.
Vice Governor said the physical construction could have been done by the government because the provincial government was committed to facilitate the artists who will perform at the building with the minimum cost.
In addition, Vice Governor claimed the design for the building will be conducted by tender. He said there should be prospective investors that are willing to invest in these art building designing.
“The most important is its goal, that is the the design. The design of mall or hotel is just as supporting elements that must also be in harmony with the shape of the building arts,” said Vice Governor.
Meanwhile, when asked about the development process, the Vice Governor said the target completion of this art building will be finished by the end of 2017. "I think in March (2016) can be held a beauty contest, and possibly at the end of 2017 will be finished," said Vice Governor.
