    Netty Invite Women to Fight Violence towards Women and Children



    BANDUNG - Throughout 2015, according to the data of Indonesian Child Protection Commission (KPAI) there are about 3,700 children who are becoming the victims of violence. Sadly, the National Women Commission (Komnas Perempuan) said that there are two women becoming the victims of violence per hour.

    Advisory Council of Women's Organizations Cooperation Agency (BKOW) of West Java Province Netty Heryawan said that the nation's development should be the right of all people, but unfortunately there are still many who have not been able to enjoy it. This is expressed in the Gathering and Halal Bihalal Great Hall of Wisma Wanita BKOW in Bandung on Tuesday (19.07.16).

    "In fact, there are many women and children who are victims of social discrimination," she continued.

    To that end, Netty BKOW invites all members of management support and realize the campaign "Three Ends" was initiated by the Ministry of Women Empowerment and Child Protection (KPP and PA).

    The contents of these campaigns among others, to end violence against women and children (end violence against women and children) of any form of violence, end trafficking in persons (end human trafficking), and the end of economic access gap for women (end barriers to economic justice).

    "67 women's organizations in West Java should contribute to the success of this campaign," said Netty before BKOW chairman Jabar, head of the West Java DPRD, as well as officials BKOW Jabar.
