    Mayor: Taxpayer Enforcement Proceed Smoothly


    BANDUNG-An effort to enforce the rules, Bandung City Government will continue to conduct enforcement against entrepreneurs who are found not obey the obligations to pay taxes.

    Bandung Mayor Ridwan Kamil said that until now the process of enforcement of rules against taxpayers, especially entrepreneurs conducted by the officer can proceed smoothly.

    "During the control process of the entrepreneurs bussiness is running smoothly, we had not yet received reports of civil servants suspected become the backing of rogue employers who are reluctant to register or pay taxes in his business place," he said.

    Mayor confirmed, it will provide firm sanctions against civil servants who are found protecting the taxpayers who not paying its obligations.

    "If there are civil servants who break the rules, then we will not hesitate to take action against those responsible from reprimand sanctions until rotation sanctions," he said.

    Mayor noted, during the controlling process, there were about 1,000 new taxpayers, and 300 taxpayers were given a warning and 700 taxpayers register after be warned.
