BANDUNG-The Government of West Java, Ahmad Heryawan, has officially opened free homecoming programme initiated by West Java Department of Transportation on Tuesday (28/6) in the courtyard of West Java Department of Transportation office.
In his report, The Head of West Java Department of Transportation, Dedi Taufik, said that this year, free homecoming programme is also hold in Sukabumi (2 Buses), Bekasi (8 Buses), and Bandung (10 Buses). Overall, there are 1500 seats. This year, most of the participant of this free of charge homecoming event is heading for Central Java.
Dedi hopes that this programme could be continuously hold in the following years.
The Governor of West Java, Ahmad Heryawan, said in his welcoming speech that he appreciates this programme. "The capacity of this programme should be increase to at least double the capacity of this years programme,"
The Governor expressed his farewell to the participant and tell the driver to take a good care of the participant or passenger by driving responsibly.
Regarding the increasing number of the homecomers that is using motorcycle, The Governor appealed that "It would be better if you take the bus rather than a motorcycle. I think they still have enough bus to carry some more passenger," he said.
After delivering his speech, The Governor handed each driver with one phone service provider card that they can use to communicate with each oher.
