BANDUNG-A flyover which will connects Jl. Jakarta and Jl. Terusan Jakarta Antapani is officially under construction starting this friday (10/6). The ground breaking of the construction is done directly by The Minister of General Works and Residents (PUPR), Basuki Hadimuljono in the presence of The Vice Governor of West Java, Deddy Mizwar and The Mayor of Bandung, Ridwan Kamil.
"The construction of this flyover is using the newest technology which developed by The Ministry of PUPR and Bandung is the first city to ever use this technology," said Basuki Hadimuljono.
The construction of this flyover is using wavy steel with foam cement casting without sandstone mixing.
"This technology can cut the cost upto 70% and the construction will be 50% faster, but the strength is just the same as a steel framed construction," he said.
The construction is projected to be completed by December 2016 with total cost up to Rp 33,5 Billion.
