BANDUNG-The high number of violence towards woman and children cases shows that it is important to improve the quality of the reception clerk and the handling of complaints in each of the Integrated Services Center for Women and Children (P2TP2A).
The Head of P2TP2A of West Java, Netty Heryawan said that the growth of P2TP2A in every region, particularly West Java is of course cannot be generalised because, it will be based on the needs of each regions yet the quality of the personnel must be generalised and improved.
"It is expected that the service of P2TP2A will be more responsive, faster, precise and integrated," she said.
To that end, according to Netty, the government must have the Social Welfare Coordinating Institution (LKKS) which is concentrated in handling the cases of violence against women and children, ranging from the protection of victims, handling, until recovery from traumatic times. "Since the government does not have these facilities, P2TP2A is the one that currently provides specialized services for victims, this training will be very useful for improving the quality of volunteering in every P2TP2A," she said after opening Handling Training Trafficking Victims, at Hotel Endah Parahyangan, Wednesday (25.05.16).
"In the future there should be LKKS specifically addressing women victims of violence, including providing special education services unit for the victims, it may be that they are not welcome back in the environment because it is considered a disgrace," she said again.
