BANDUNG - The number of investor in Indonesia Stock Exchange is increasing during the last 4 years.
The data provided by the West Java representatives of Indonesia Stock Exchange shows that the number of investor in West Java is increasing aroung 12.5%. According to the Head of West Java representatives of Indonesia Stock Exchange, Harry Mulyono, the increasing number of investor shows that people's knowledge in investing their money on stock is raising.
"It shows that the people's knowledge in investment is raising particularly in the field of stock exchange because, in the past the people is more familiar with saving their money in the Bank conventionally," he said.
According to Harry, this knowledge increase is also the results of "Ayo Menabung Saham" campaign programme.
"Since its establishment in 2012, this educational campaign is quite helping in terms of raising the people's knowledge regarding the sock exchange field," he said.
The number of investor in West Java contributes about 14% of the overall number of investor in Indonesia Stoc Exchange. (PUN)
