    IKAPI of West Java's Consistency in Developing People's Interest in Books

    BANDUNG-Chairman of the Association of Indonesian Publishers (IKAPI), Drs.H. Anwaruddin, M.Ag said that Jabar Islamic Book Fair (JIBF) 2016 is the answer from book publishers incorporated in IKAPI who remain strong and consistent to promote a culture of reading to the society in order to maintain the quality of human civilization in the midst of obstacles and difficulties block.

    "The books with religious nuances is a response to the reality that happens. People need  written guidance in the form of books that support physical and mental insights. It good that books with religious nuances still exist in the global era that is loaded with varieties of life issues," said H. Anwaruddin at the Opening of Jabar Islamic Book Fair 2016 in Bale Asri PUSDAI Jabar, Jalan Diponegoro 63, Bandung, Tuesday (3/5),

    Anwaruddin said JIBF 2016 is IKAPI's effort to continue to improve the quality of human resources in West Java that will contribute to Indonesia's Human Resource in general because through a book exhibition our nation culture will be on its peak of existency.

    "The book is not only a window of knowledge, but became the face of human civilization in the form of valuable culture. That means, an attempt to socialize book to human civilization should continue to be pursued. One of them through JIBF 2016," he said.

    It is said that JIBF 2016 was held because of the support and cooperation of the Government of West Java and inline with the vision and mission IKAPI build "Books for Civilization" cultured human.

    "It is expected that the positive synergy will bring positive value to the society's interest in books and of books in Indonesia and West Java in particular," he said. (ENAL)
