BANDUNG - West Java Governor Ahmad Heryawan (Aher) attended the 34th Graduation of Public Administration Institute of Public Administration (STIA LAN) Bandung in Sabuga Building, on Tuesday (27/10).
In front of 270 graduates who came from central and local government agencies, state-owned enterprise (BUMN), provincially owned company (BUMD), military and police, Aher said, the government apparatus should be able to deliver public services that qualify and accountable. And also should be able to address the development challenges ahead in realizing the good governance and clean governance.
"The experience and knowledge gained during their education at STIA LAN should be a valuable asset in improving the quality of service as government apparatus in their respective institution," said Aher.
Aher added, through the educational approach it will create government apparatus that reliable and insightful. "Knowledge is absolutely necessary to bring innovation and service in governance," he said.
Aher hopes they are able to answer the needs of development and deliver public services which suit, even exceed the expectations of society. Since 2015, Indonesia was ranked 37 of 149 countries in the world in terms of public services. "It declined from the previous year," said Aher.
Therefore Aher wants the graduates must be a pioneer in moving spirit of the mental revolution from apparatus significantly. "Give a strong impetus for achieving the targets of the overall development agenda," said Aher.
