BRI Syariah Prepares Rp 142 Billion Fund For Credits

BANDUNG - PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Syariah (BRIS) during 2011 disbursed loans / credit as much as Rp 398 billion in which their micro credit reached USD 62 billion. Chief of BRIS Bandung Citarum Branch, Rois M Iyon said that for this year they ready to raise the credit value, including for the perpetrators of UMKM (SMEs). "This year, we are ready to disburse credit to UMKM (SMEs) actors worth Rp 142 billion," he said.

While the total value of loans that became BRIS distribution target in his areas in 2012 reached Rp 698 billion. In total credit, he continued, this year, they ready to pour the magnitude of the value of nearly 100 percent higher than the realization of 2011.

During 2009-2011 period, in general, they recorded a positive growth. On average, approximately 87 percent growth per year. In addition to loans, he added, it was targeting growth in the collection of third party funds (DPK) or funding, which in 2011, worth Rp 393 billion. This year, they targets growth in DPK, which in national figure as much as Rp 2.8 trillion to Rp 668 billion.
   
BRIS also ready to operate several new branches, namely in Majalaya, Purwakarta, Subang, Garut, Tasikmalaya, and Sumedang. BRIS is also plans to open five units of micro services. The five micro service units are located in Rancaekek, Jalan Jamika Bandung, Plered, and Purwakarta.
