KAB. BANDUNG - The number of cases of Dengue Haemorrhagic Fever (DHF) in Bandung Regency during the last 3 years since 2009, 2010, and 2011, tend to decrease the number. It is said Chief District Health Office Bandung, dr. Ahmad Kustiadi, Monday (16/1).
"We recognize this in early 2012 in Bandung Regency there are few cases of DHF, and some even died. But in terms of the cumulative total amount since the last 3 years, the overall number of dengue cases in the District of Bandung tends to fall "he said.
In 2009, dengue cases in the District of Bandung reached 10,227 cases, 2010 reached 10,180 cases, and in 2011 reached 10,038 cases. According to Ahmad Kustiadi, decrease the number of cases it is inseparable from its own efforts and public awareness about the Clean and Healthy Lifestyle (PHBs), and mosquito eradication nest (PSN).

Ahmad Kustiadi added, from 276 villages and urban villages in the District of Bandung, 90 of them classified as endemic villages, 136 sporadic, and 50 other villages are free of DHF.
