Bandung, Bandung City Legislature asked the Office of Highways and Irrigation (DBMP) of Bandung to more seriously deal with a number of drainage improvements in the city of Bandung, following mampetnya often when rain arrives.

 

"We are reminded again DBMP, to more seriously deal with drainage improvements," said Chairman of Commission C DPRD Bandung, Entang Suryaman, told reporters in his office on Monday (09/01).

 

According Entang, although the budget for the drainage of Rp30 billion has not been sufficient, but that value has increased more than one hundred percent when compared to 2011 last year.

 

"Last year the budget for the drainage of only Rp13 billion, now rose to Rp30 billion, so repairs can be optimal," he said.

 

Entang states, due to meminimnya budget available, the quality of drainage improvements undertaken during fiscal year 2011 and less than optimal.

 

"DBMP reasonable cause of lack of funds less the maximum improvement, so we added in pure budget," he said.
