JAKARTA-Rumah Zakat won A accreditation obtained based on the Ministry of Religion (Kemenag) audit in 2018. Overall, Rumah Zakat received an accreditation score of 99.62, while the value of sharia compliance reached 96.22.
The CEO of Zakat House, Nur Effendi, welcomed and was grateful for the achievement. Nur hopes the results of the audit can spur institutions to continue to improve their quality and increase trust in the community.
"Alhamdulillah, we got an A accreditation from the Ministry of Religion after previously the Zakat House received the Republika Syariah Award at the end of 2018. This shows that the management of trustees from Zakat House donors is managed in sharia and in accordance with sharia compliance," Nur Effendi said on Tuesday (29/1 )
According to the Director General of Islamic Ministry of Religion, Muhammadiyah Amin, accreditation is one of the efforts to map the potential of ZIS in the country. In this case, the Ministry of Religion sees the role of amil ZIS institutions (Alms, Infaq, and Alms) to be able to meet predetermined standards.
"We carry out tasks based on the mandate of the law and carry out the functions of guidance and supervision. "Accreditation is the result of mentoring monitoring and evaluation for mapping purposes aimed at motivating zakat institutions to continue to innovate," explained Muhammadiyah Amin. (Even)
