West Java Provincial Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) Chief Dicky Saromi said his office this morning, Tuesday (1/1/19), sent a team of 10 emergency personnel. "The team also carried 1 set of refugee tents, 20 body bags, 25 kg size bags 1000 pieces, 50 kg 1000 pieces sacks, 50 boxes of instant noodles, and 50 boxes of mineral water," he told the West Java Public Relations Team, Tuesday (1/1 / 19).
Meanwhile, West Java BPBD data as of 1 January 2019 at 14.45 WIB said there were 9 people died, 5 people were injured, 29 people were unknown, 60 people were safe. For damage, 30 houses were buried and 32 families (103 souls) were affected.
This landslide in Sukabumi occurred on Monday night, December 31, 2018, at 17.30 WIB. Landslides occurred due to heavy rain pouring down the village. As a result, surface runoff occurs in forest areas and rice fields from the hills at the scene. Water flow then causes hilly material to slide down the slope and hoard 30 houses.
