    West Java NTP Stay Above 100


    BANDUNG - West Java Central Statistics Agency (BPS) said that West Java's NTP increased in October.

    The results of price monitoring in 18 districts in West Java Province in October 2018 West Java NTP increased by 0.14 percent compared to September 2018, from 109.61 to 109.77.

    "The agricultural production price index (IT) rose by 0.55 percent and the price index of goods consumed by farmers (IB) rose by 0.41 percent. NTP is growing positively because IT growth is greater than IB growth, "West Java BPS Head Doddy Herlando said at his office on Thursday (1/11).

    In October 2018, 3 (three) of the 5 (five) subsectors of agricultural NTP increased, namely the Food Crops, Plantation, and Fisheries Subsector. The subsector that experienced the highest increase was the Food Crop Subsector which rose by 1.12 percent, from 106.22 to 107.41.

    Then followed by the TPR Subsector NTP which rose to 0.70 percent from 100.18 to 100.88; and Fisheries Subsector NTP which rose by 0.43 percent, from 106.88 to 107.34. Meanwhile, the Horticulture Subsector's NTP fell by 0.81 percent from 118.45 to 117.49.
