The success of the Corruption Prevention Program in West Java Above the National Average

BANDUNG — The results of the evaluation of the corruption prevention program in the West Java Provincial Government by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) showed positive results although it still needed a number of improvements.

West Java Regional Secretary Iwa Karniwa said from the results of the KPK's evaluation, West Java Provincial Government's points were at 67, while the same program points for 27 districts / cities reached 64. "While the national average is 38, it means we are relatively better than other regions," he said at Gedung Sate, Bandung, Friday (11/02/2018).

However, it is acknowledged by the Regional Secretary that there are several things that must be improved by the West Java Provincial Government regarding prevention so that the running programs can be implemented better. These improvements include the integration of systems from planning, budgeting, implementation to reporting.

"So, between Bappeda, DPKAD, Assets, Regional Personnel Agency and Diskominfo we are doing there are some that we must integrate specifically with BKD and also assets," he said.

The KPK also agreed that ultimately the financial statements could be accessed in real time. According to Iwa, now in financial reporting there are still semi manuals. "If that happens then we can, like reports like banks, real time in the form of balance sheets, earnings reports and cash flow reports," he said.

The three evaluations also emphasize licensing improvements, especially regarding offices and means of integration. This is where the technical services related to licensing will be banned in the Investment and Integrated One-Stop Licensing Service. "This is integrated, so the licensing process will be fast, services will increase, and eliminate unwanted things in the future," he explained.

The Regional Secretary himself ensures that licensing integrated services now have more representative offices on Jalan Windu. The office which was formerly the Human Resources Training Agency [BPSDM] replaced the DPMPTSP office located on Jalan Sumatera, Bandung.

"BPSDM, moved to Cipageran. So that with sufficient area can do integration where BPN employees with technical services, so that it is more coordinated. Furthermore, from the HR side, the Inspectorate must be improved, including the information system and the quantity of HR, "he said. (Even)
