JATINANGOR - Minister of Home Affairs (Minister of Home Affairs) Tjahjo Kumolo Accompanying Indonesian Vice President Jusuf Kalla Inaugurated 1,994 Young Students of IPDN Generation XXIX in 2018 which took place at the Abdi Praja Parade Field of the Jatinangor Institute of Domestic Government, Sumedang Regency, Friday (10/02/2018).
The inauguration procession was led by the Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia Mr. M. Jusuf Kalla and was attended by the Minister of Home Affairs, Deputy Governor of West Java, Uu Ruzhanul Ulum and Forkopinda.
The arrival of Vice President Jusuf Kalla at the IPDN Campus was welcomed by Minister of Home Affairs Tjahjo Kumolo and Acting. IPDN Chancellor Ermaya Suradinata.
In his speech, Vice President JK said that the IPDN Praja was the best candidates. Because, of the 44,000 candidates who registered only about 1,994 were successfully installed
"This means that only about 5% can be appointed here," he said
JK revealed that as civil service cadres, they must carry out their duties maximally after going through a series of training and education on the IPDN campus.
"You are certainly the leading spearhead of the government and then will face the community. You will listen to the wishes of the people. You will hear nothing that we need to build on this nation," he said firmly.
The Minister of Home Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, Tjahjo, assessed that the Inauguration of the Young Praja Force XXIX was very special.
"This Young Praja Inauguration was very special because Mr. Vice President Mr. Jusuf Kalla came", he said.
At the inauguration ceremony of the Young Praja IPDN, 1,994 young prospective students of IPDN were installed. Younger IPDN students then studied for 4 years at the central IPDN campus and regional campus IPDN.
Tjahyo revealed that the education process for 4 years was done to prepare young people to become government officials.
"They will serve as one component of government administrators and the glue of national unity and unity spread throughout Indonesia," he said.
In this inauguration process, there were also various art performances by the IPDN Praja, such as musical arts, rampak kendang, Kolosal Nusantara dance, GP drumband and Papuan dances. (Even)
