BANDUNG-West Java Governor Ahmad Heryawan expressed condolences over the death of the eldest son of Minister of Marine Fisheries Susi Pudjiastuti named Panji Hilmansyah in the US, on Monday (18/1).
"On behalf of the West Java Provincial Government and personally, I express my condolence. Innalillahi wa inna ilaihi rajiun," he said.
Aher was very empathetic over the accident that be fall on Minister Susi from West Java who now lined up as public officials in sector related to marine and fisheries.
"I hope the minister is always given patience facing this tragedy. Insha Allah, according to the promise of God in the Qur’an said that those were patient on misfortune will get happiness of the world and the hereafter,” said Aher.
Aher always support and said his proud when Susi lined up to be the Minister of Marine and Fisheries in the Working Cabinet. Susi came from Pangandaran with the number of businesses, such as fish exporting and also the Susi Airlines in West Java.
"Hopefully the minister could work well, and able to make a real contribution in marines and fisheries," he said on October 28th, 2014 after Susi officially became the 6th Minister of Marine and Fisheries.
On the other hand, in the silahturahmi event between Governor of West Java and the Minister, Susi expressed her appreciation on Aher’s innovation to build the infrastructure in the southern West Java.
Susi asked that West Java could build a sustainable environmental governance, by protecting the mangroves, mangrove crabs, and using environmentally friendly fishing gear.
“I ask for Mr. Governor to made the Local Regulation (Perda) on the mangrove protection and using environmentally friendly fishing gear regulations," said Susi at that time.
